F. Phillip Abrary (BSc, CA), President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Abrary is a founder of Ostara with more than 20 years of financial management and executive experience. His experience includes acting President and founder of RTM Norden Inc., an international business and technology consulting firm working with the manufacturing sector throughout North America and Europe, and manager of audit practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers working with private, public and multinational corporations.

Ahren T. Britton (MSc, P.Eng), Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Britton has more than 10 years experience in environmental engineering, specifically focused on the wastewater treatment industry. He is a co-inventor of Ostara's technology and developed the first prototype of Ostara`s technology during his research at the University of British Columbia. His professional experience includes roles in engineering consulting, municipal utilities and heavy industry both in North America and in Australasia.

Myles Degenstein (BComm, CA) Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Degenstein joined Ostara as the Chief Financial Officer in 2007. Prior to Ostara, he was the finance director of an energy technology startup. Mr. Degenstein held various financial positions with Creo Inc., a printing automation company listed on NASDAQ and the TSX that was purchased by Eastman Kodak in 2005. Mr. Degenstein obtained his CA designation with Price Waterhouse from 1988 to 1992.

Aynul Dharas, Vice President Projects

Mr. Dharas has more than 25 years of management and industrial project experience in the mining, pulp and paper and wastewater industries. His business experience includes acting Vice President and founder of Proton International Engineering Corporation, a Canadian engineering and construction company devoted to the development of small and medium sized mining projects worldwide.

Edward Jones (BSc), Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Jones has more than 20 years of experience in management and industrial process control and is a founder of Ostara. His business experience includes acting technical director of RTM Norden Inc. and project specialist at ABB Group, a worldwide leader in power and automation technologies. Mr. Jones has international experience with long-term projects in Sweden, Finland and Mexico.

Matt Kuzma, Vice President Wastewater Solutions

Mr. Kuzma has more than 15 years of experience in the wastewater treatment industry, focusing on the development and sales of advanced technologies entering the market. With numerous positions in engineering, product management, and sales management, he has developed a wide range of understanding within the market through relationships developed with consultants, owners, and regulators. While employed with Siemens Water Technologies (previously USFilter and Veolia), he managed the membrane bioreactor technology and the introduction of the technology into both existing and emerging markets.

Paul Meschino, P.E, MBA, Vice President Sales, North America

Paul Meschino has spent over 25 years in the water and wastewater industry focusing on technologies, alternate project delivery, public-private partnerships, regulated and unregulated water and wastewater utility operations, and pipeline operations, maintenance and rehabilitation. He has successfully driven growth for leading global environmental service providers including Veolia Water, Insituform Technologies and American Water throughout his career. In addition he has advised government and industry on sensitive environmental issues and capital programs.

Jim Zablocki (MSc), Vice President Nutrient Operations

Mr. Zablocki has worked in the fertilizer industry for more than 30 years, specializing in slow release fertilizers. He has written a number of scientific papers and has been a consultant for government agencies regarding nutrient management programs. He has served in management positions with W. R. Grace & Co., the global specialty chemicals and materials company, and with the Scotts Company, the leading supplier of lawn care and garden care products in North America and Europe. His work with these companies included developing formulations and blends, as well as evaluating new technologies, coatings, substrates, and release profiles.

Len Zapalowski (BSc, M.Sc), Senior Vice President

Mr. Zapalowski has more than 20 years of senior management experience with some of Vancouver's most successful companies including Nexus Engineering, Creo Products, and Pivotal Software. His broad global business experience includes sales, marketing and business development in North America, Asia and Europe.
