Ostara, and its strategic partners, estimate that approximately 200 wastewater treatment plants in North America and several hundred plants in Europe and the rest of the world are prime candidates for the Company's technology.
These plants need solutions to two problems:

1.    Plugged pipes, pumps and valves are increasing operating and maintenance costs and reducing plant capacities; and,
2.    Increasingly stringent environmental regulations. .

Ostara’s wastewater treatment technology, called the Pearl® Nutrient Recovery Process, helps wastewater treatment systems overcome both problems.
Once integrated into the wastewater treatment system, the Pearl® Nutrient Recovery Process (reactor) initiates a chemical reaction that processes the sludge liquids and recovers phosphorus and other nutrients — and then converts them into a high-quality environmentally friendly commercial fertilizer that can generate revenue for the system’s operator.
 Ostara’s Pearl® Nutrient Recovery Process is a significant cost saver for the wastewater treatment system:

• Cost savings and fertilizer revenue repay capital investments in 3 to 5 years.
