F. Phillip Abrary, BSc, CA
Mr. Abrary is a co-founder of Ostara with more than 20 years of financial management and executive experience. His experience includes president and founder of RTM Norden Inc., an international business and technology consulting firm working with the manufacturing sector throughout North America and Europe, and manager of audit practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers working with private, public and multinational corporations.

Robert F. Kennedy, AB, JD, LLM
Mr. Kennedy is a venture partner at VantagePoint Capital Partners and also a Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney at Pace University School of Law's Environmental Litigation Clinic. He serves as President of Waterkeeper Alliance, Chief Prosecuting Attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper, and Senior Attorney for the Natural Resources Defence Council. Mr Kennedy was named one of Time magazine's "Heroes for the Planet". He is a graduate of Harvard University, University of Virginia Law School, as well as Pace University School of Law, where he received a Masters Degree in Environmental Law. Angus Livingstone, B.Sc
Mr. Livingstone is Managing Director of the University-Industry Liaison Office (UILO) at The University of British Columbia (UBC). He is the President of the University's wholly owned subsidiary, UBC Research Enterprises Inc., and co-founder of the Alliance for the Commercialization of Canadian Technology. Angus graduated from UBC with a B.Sc. in Computer Science in 1983. In 1988, he joined the UILO where he has held various positions relating to industry sponsored research, technology transfer, and the management of UILO operations. He has played critical roles in the creation of many Canadian technology transfer and commercialization initiatives including BC Advantage Funds, The Centre for Drug Research and Development, and the Canada-California Strategic Innovation Partnership.

Steven L. Pinney, BSc
Mr. Pinney is a senior executive with over 30 years of manufacturing, mining, supply chain management and business integration experience with international nutrient companies including The Mosaic Company and Cargill Fertilizer, Inc. His governance experience encompasses private and public enterprise, mostly notably as Commission Chair for the Tampa Port Authority. Mr. Pinney supports his community as an active Trustee for both the United Methodist Foundation and the Washburn Center for Children.

Dr. Rafael Simon, BA, ME, PhD
Dr. Simon is a venture partner at VantagePoint Capital Partners. VantagePoint provides creative growth strategies and capital to companies transforming global markets. Prior to joining VantagePoint, Dr. Simon was the Chief Operating Officer of ZENON Environmental (acquired by GE), a leading water treatment company, where he was responsible for all aspect of sales, operations, research and development and manufacturing of membrane-based water treatment technology. Prior to ZENON, he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company focusing on the environment and energy sectors.
