Ostara Nutrient Recovery Technologies Inc. is a Vancouver-based company founded in 2005 to develop and commercialize proprietary technologies that recover nutrients from liquid sewage and recycle them into environmentally-friendly slow release fertilizer, called Crystal Green®.
Ostara's technology, named PEARLTM Nutrient Recycling Process, reduces the amount of pollutants released into the environment, helps sewage treatment plants reduce operating costs and meet environmental regulations and provides municipalities with revenue from the sale of the recycled fertilizer.
