Nitrogen

Nitrogen is necessary for all living things to thrive. For crops, it is essential in chlorophyll, protein synthesis, and growth regulation. CG P2X supports your nitrogen program to last through the entire growing season.

Why do plants need nitrogen?

Nitrogen is an essential element in the structural, genetic and metabolic components of plant cells. It is a critical component of amino acids which make up proteins, of the bases of nucleic acids that communicate genetic information, and a central portion of the chlorophyll molecule.

What happens if plants don’t get enough nitrogen?

  • Lower leaves become chlorotic
  • Growth slows or stops
  • Photosynthesis slows and yield potential is reduced

CG P2X’s Nitrogen Advantage

The nitrogen in CG P2X is 100% plant available and is released only in response to crop demand. Typically, excess nitrogen can runoff or leach into waterways, building up excess nitrogen in the water and cause harmful algae blooms.

CG P2X supports crop growth while protecting the environment.
