Chief Financial Officer

Ms. West serves as Chief Financial Officer with more than 20 years of experience in strategic and tactical financial management. She provides strategic leadership for Ostara’s business and finance functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations. She also directs supply chain, human resources, and IT.

Prior to joining Ostara, Ms. West served as Chief Financial Officer for Actagro, a soil and plant health specialty inputs business, successfully leading the company through exceptional growth, resulting in a sale of the company to a private equity investor in 2011 and a subsequent sale to a strategic buyer in 2019.

Ms. West is currently an outside director for an agriculture cooperative lending institution, serving on its audit committee as chair and as a member on its governance committee.

Ms. West has a B.B.A. in Marketing from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from California State University, Fresno. She is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington.
